As mentioned in class, I was quite pleased with your timed in-class essay results, however you have another similar test again on Thursday 15th May. Please prepare thoroughly for it, and take into account my feedback from your last essay, particulary my comments on AO4 - this appears to be a weakness for many students.
- Find your critic, memorise their quote, include it in your essay
- Demonstrate wider reading (of the poems and Larking himself).
Please continue with your own revision, and practise! practise! practise! timed essays at home :)
PS. Prepare Task #2 from last week's homework (questions based on a poem you're finding difficult to understand) fro Monday's lesson. That way we can tackle areas of concern :)
